So the first thing I'm going to talk about today is short term goal setting. When you are setting a large goal to yourself, the best way to do this is in chunks of goals that lead up to the ultimate outcome.
When you're setting your goals, make sure they are realistic. I'm not saying that anyone is incapable because I truly think anyone can do anything if they set their mind to it. However, some goals just cannot be attained. If you have a fitness goal, talk to your doctor or take a step back and think, "Is this safe for my body, or is this even possible for my body?" This is so important for you because you could really hurt yourself if your goals aren't realistic.
And that leads me to my next and final tip that sort of corresponds to my first paragraph; believe in yourself! You can do this and you will. You will overcome this even if it's as little as getting more sleep or as major as loosing x amount of pounds.
So that's it! I hope this will help you carry on your goal setting throughout the year and remember, it doesn't have to be the new year to start a goal.
